ScreenSYS discovers specific chemical regulators that reprogram individual plant cells to divide and develop. However, no two plant species are the same, and new species often present new challenges in terms of controlling the reprogramming of their cells. This motivates ScreenSYS to develop new methods and cell protocols, particularly for the production of double haploid plants or for micropropagation from single somatic plant cells. The innovative competence with which ScreenSYS constantly develops, tests and implements new ideas has now been recognized by the Research Allowance Certification Office (Bescheinigungsstelle Forschungszulage, BSFZ). The BSFZ seal of approval confirms that ScreenSYS invests a high proportion of its resources in research and development.
